Gluten / Grain Free Pasta

 

Gluten Free Pasta – Soy Flour Pasta Noodles

  • 1 C Soy Flour, plus ½ C

  • ½ C Fine Ground Golden Flax Seed, plus ¼ C

  • ½ Teaspoon Sea Salt

  • 2 Large Eggs

  • 2 Tablespoons Sunflower Oil

 

Mix the soy flour and ground flax seed and sea salt, form a mound on the counter top, with a well in the middle.  Crack eggs into the well and add sunflower oil.  Mix all together starting with the eggs, working outwards.  Knead together until the dough is a firm ball, and all dry ingredients are mixed in completely. 

 

Mix the ½ cup of soy flour and the ¼ cup ground flax seed together, lightly flour the counter top and the rolling pin with this mixture.  Roll out the dough as you would a pie crust.  Roll it as thin and long as you want your pasta to be.

 

Once it is rolled to your desired thickness, cut into strips, I used a pizza cutter.  Make all the strips uniform, the same width and length, so that they will cook evenly.

 

Bring a large pan of filtered water to a rolling boil.  Slowly and carefully drop noodles into boiling water.  When all the noodles are in the boiling water, carefully stir, making sure that noodles separate from each other. 

 

Let them boil until they become firm, about 6 to 8 minutes.  Taste them to make sure they are cooked through.

 

Drain and add your favorite sauce. Now you are ready to enjoy pasta that is perfect while on the candida cleanse diet.
